Our Physios can help you deal with many of the prenatal and postnatal physical issues you may experience, and can help you prepare for and recover from childbirth. We assess your general physical condition and core stability to identify weaknesses, and make sure you’re doing the right things in terms of strengthening/stretching key muscles, and managing any particular conditions that are affecting you. Postnatally, we help with your return to an active lifestyle, and make sure any issues that are affecting you are monitored and managed properly. Commonly observed conditions include continence issues, and DRAMs (Diastasis of the Rectus Abdominis Muscle).
We run Mum’s n Bubs classes, ideal for the mum looking to return to physical activity.
Our Physios are all mums themselves and have a special interest in Prenatal and Postnatal Physiotherapy, and are understanding of new mums and expect them to bring their baby to their consultation.
